I'm not a trained developer, let alone an SEO expert. I build my sites and tools with Claude Code: a Twitch extension, a clip editor, my portfolio, a car import site, a hair salon's website. It's fast. The problem is everything you don't see: a page that doesn't exist for Google, a design that looks generated, a key left lying around in the code.

So I built myself a toolkit. Here's what I use, and what I go into in the next posts of this series.

What's a skill?

A skill is a folder with instructions and sometimes scripts. Claude Code loads it when the task needs it, or when you call it with /skill-name. It's a method you write once and the AI then applies every time, without you explaining it all again.

Impeccable, for design, critique and audit

Not mine, but it's the best skill I use. It critiques an interface like a designer would (a score out of 40, issues ranked by priority), audits it technically (accessibility, performance, responsive), and polishes it one command at a time. Install it with npx impeccable install. Post 3 is all about it.

amz-site-health, to actually be on Google and Bing

Mine. It checks every page on Google and Bing, explains why a page isn't indexed, and submits what's missing (sitemaps, IndexNow, Indexing API). It also gives SEO and GEO advice, to get cited by ChatGPT and the others. It's what showed me that my main site had only 32 pages indexed out of 345. It's all in post 2.

amz-security-audit, before going live

A full security audit that doesn't break anything: code, dependencies, secrets in the Git history, then read-only tests on the live site. It only marks an issue as "confirmed" if it actually reproduced it. I cover it in post 4, along with the mistakes I used to make.

amz-antislop, my small add-on to Impeccable

My rules so a site stops looking generated: an icon only when it triggers an action, a single radius system, a real typeface, no fake numbers. My portfolio went from 35% to 12% on an "AI-made" detector.

For paid SEO tools, I use RankerFox: shared access to dozens of tools, including Semrush Pro and One Hour Indexing in my plan, from €9.99 a month, with a €1 trial for 7 days. There's also Noxtools, same idea but bigger: more than 60 SEO tools, including Ahrefs and Semrush. It has more than RankerFox, but it costs more. My advice: RankerFox to start small, Noxtools if you need a specific tool RankerFox doesn't have, like Ahrefs.
